No earphones? It works on the phone speaker too: translations play one at a time and the microphone is muted while they play, so the app never translates its own voice.

Before you download.
Is Tarjuman free?
Yes. Downloading and using it is free, with no subscription and no ads.
Does it work offline?
Partly. Ready phrases, the country guide and the medical emergency card always work offline, and typed translation works offline after you download language packs. Live voice translation and image translation need internet.
Which phones are supported, and how do I install it?
Android phones running Android 7.0 or newer. Download the APK and open it. If your phone asks, allow installs from your browser.
New versions install over the old one and keep your conversations and settings, and the app tells you when an update is available.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Tarjuman is available for Android only for now.
Do I need special earphones?
No. Any wired or Bluetooth earphones work: one earbud for you, one for the other person. Without earphones it works on the phone speaker, playing translations one at a time.
When will it be on Google Play?
Soon. Until then, download it free from this page.
Are my conversations private?
Yes. Your conversations and settings stay on your phone, with no account and no servers of ours. The details are in the privacy policy.
